  5. The Midius ProjectPlanner is a Macintosh program for making time schedules (Gantt charts).

  23. to Kagi Shareware using mail, email or fax.

  52. Changes in 1.2.5 (24 October 1999)
  53. • Corrected a bug that caused changes in the calendar not always being stored properly.
  54. • Corrected a bug that caused columns hidden by the Gantt chart still being printed
  55.    (inside the Gantt chart).
  56. • Corrected a bug that could cause a hang when adding new columns using the
  57.    Columns dialog.
  58. • Added possibility to have fractions of an hour in the base week dialog.
  59. • Added possibility to suppress the time information in the date columns. The time
  60.    information will be visible and editable whenever such a column is in focus but
  61.    moving out of the column will hide the time information. This new user preference
  62.    checkbox can be found in the Columns dialog.
  63. • Corrected a bug that made it impossible to get an activity line drawn in the Gantt chart
  64.    without using the mouse and the activity tool.

  69. Known Bugs
  70.  
  71. • When printing a time chart with a activity table spanning over two pages, horizontally,
  72.    the output is not as beatiful as it should be...
  73. • You cannot make schedules with starting dates prior to 1986.
  74. • Having a schedule spanning over a long period and displaying it with a high
  75.    "resolution" (e.g. timescale=days) will cut off some parts of the time schedule.
  76. • When entering the year with only two digits, e.g. 14/12/97 the MacOS rules
  77.    are used to determine the century:
  78.      If the value of the input year is less than 100, StringToDate determines the year as follows.
  79.       1. If (current year) MOD 100 is greater than or equal to 90 and the input year is less than
  80.       or equal to 10, the input year is assumed to be in the next century.
  81.       2. If (current year) MOD 100 is less than or equal to 10 and the input year is greater than
  82.       or equal to 90, the input year is assumed to be in the previous century.
  83.       3. Otherwise, the input year is assumed to be in the current century.
  84.       If the value of the input year is between 100 and 1000, then 1000 is added to it. Thus the
  85.       dates 1/9/87, 1/9/987, and 1/9/1987 are equivalent.

  107. Changes in 1.2.4 (10 October 1999)
  108. • Corrected a bug which could cause a hang in certain situations when moving focus
  109.    (i.e. moving the text cursor) from the work or duration column.
  110. • Corrected some errors related to computing the stop date. Sometimes the stop date
  111.    changed depending on which column you moved focus from.
  112. • Corrected yet another problem with scrolling. Sometimes when scrolling the Gantt
  113.    diagram horizontally, it wasn't properly updated.

  118. Changes in 1.2.3 (15 August 1999)
  119. • Corrected a bug which could cause a hang if the work and start time columns contained
  120.    data but the stop time was empty.
  121. • Corrected a bug which caused a crash if one deleted the very last row of the table and
  122.    it was a closed summary.
  123. • Corrected a bug that was introduced with 1.2.2; when scrolling horizontally the right
  124.    pane was not properly updated.

  127. • Made it possible to use decimal values for team member's cost field, i.e. the hourly rate

  130. • Added a "Current expenditure" column in the cost palette. The value in this column
  131.    corresponds to the Completed column in the activity table. (This column can
  132.    enabled/disabled in the preferences dialog.)

  134.    enabled/disabled using the ordinary Setup Columns-dialog.

  138. Changes in 1.2.2 (25 July 1999)
  139. • Changed behaviour of the "RETURN" key. Previously the cursor was moved to the beginning
  140.    of the next line (i.e. to the first coulmn of the next line) now it is moved to the row but
  141.    stays in the same column.
  142. • Corrected some strange behaviour that occured when an activity was selected and then
  143.    the text bursor was positioned in a text field of that row. Previously three mouse clicks
  144.    could be necessary to get the text cursor where you wanted it.
  145. • Corrected a bug that caused the text cursor to stay in the same row when RETRUN was hit
  146.    and a new row had to be created (i.e. the text cursor was already positioned in the last
  147.    row).
  148. • Added automatic scrolling when the textcursor becomes invisible due to moving the cursor
  149.    to an activity row that is not visible.
  150. • Fixed quite a few drawing problems.
  151. • Links can now be deleted by selecting them and then press either backspace (delete) or
  152.    the forward delete key.
  153. • Horizontal scrolling now works even if all summaries are "closed".

  164. • The right hand pane is now updated (and adjusted) when an activity's start date
  165.    is set to a date prior to the current start date of the schedule.
  166. • Removed a big memory leak in the drag-and-drop implementation. After doing
  167.    a few drag-and-drops, memory was exhausted causing all kinds of strange errors.
  168. • Corrected a bug that caused messed up activity rows if you dragged a group of
  169.    activities and dropped them right below themselves (i.e. no actual move was
  170.    performed).
  171. • Corrected a bug that caused the duration column of summaries to be left empty
  172.    unless the original start/stop dates had been set.
  173. • Corrected a bug that caused the summary row to have a responsible after converting
  174.    an ordinary row into a summary row.

  235. • Changed to a newer version of the Mercutio API. The previous version did cause quite
  236.    a few repeatable crashes which now are gone.

  238.    duration of an activity. In the case of mving an activity, the new start date is
  239.    displayed, and in the case of changing the duration the new stop date is displayed.
